$Text Box: NEW CONCEPTS OF TIME, SPACE AND REALITY Instead of a universe created by an explosion, which has given birth to time, we live in a cosmos which has no beginning or end. What we call time is a phenomenon which appears as fluctuations, that occur everywhere. However these fluctuations occur in order to generate the same timeless design in all scales. Everywhere it reveals an order, which is maintained by the processes of perpetual creation and destruction. In such a cosmos the complexities of the largest structures appear in the images of the minutest forms. The universe reveals its entire complexity in a grain of sand, or even smaller objects. The whole can not be known by dividing it into parts because the image of the whole always appears in its parts. At the root of all creations and destructions lie a cosmic design. Everywhere this design organizes chaos into order by letting things decay and flow out from a place before bringing them back. The inflow regenerates the universe from its death again and again. In every scales, objects are only aggregations of smaller objects. In a scale where objects may be considered as formed of packages of filaments and strings, the stringy elements themselves are fractals, which embody similar structures in hierarchically descending or ascending scales. The universe is thus formed as a network of void and matter, where everything are entangled together. Here space does not exist as a continuously filled, or empty entity. The fractal network can not be filled at all points, or be emptied of matter anywhere. It does not possess continuity where our old concepts of Euclidean or Riemannian geometries of integer dimensions will hold. Instead, it bears a fractal geometric properties bearing fractional, or even complex dimensions. The dynamics of the universe is governed by the formation and tearing of knots. Through the mechanism of knotting and unknotting the universe generates fluctuations everywhere in all scales. The knots form from dual spiral structures, which are built by smaller and smaller spirals lying inside the wombs of each other in hierarchically descending scales. The existence of duality, the hierarchical spiral, and the dynamics of the knots form the essence of this perfectly ordered universe.$

SPIRAL AND KNOT IN THE UNIVERSE AND THE BIOLOGICAL WORLD

Everything in the universe are entangled together. They are entangled like strings made of chains of knots, which are knotted to form thicker chains of larger knots. These thicker strings in turn are knotted to form ropes of knots, which again are knotted to form even thicker ropes of knots and so on. This multi-fractal nature of entanglement in the universe has similarity with the molecular structures seen in the biological world. It has similarity with the phenomena of knotting and unknotting of the molecular strings, which occur in the realms of proteins and DNAs, for example. One may wonder if the mechanism, which operates in the cosmos, may also be related to the dynamics of life. The formation of spiral structures are abundant in the nature and the living forms. The spirals also play central roles in the building of the cosmic structures. The interactions among the spirals give rise to the formation and the breakdown of the knots. In this new development of science we face the challenge of finding a mathematical description of the fractals, the knots and the spirals that would describe the inter-linkage between the micro- and the macro-worlds, where so called accidental happenings are born from an order, which hides in a fractal network.

The basis of this discovery lies in the studies of recent images of the cosmos taken by Hubble Telescope, high-energy X-ray satellites, and Very Large Array Radio telescopes. By applying different image mapping, filtering and enhancement techniques with the help of computers, one can gain a very powerful sight into the nature of the universe. Thus one can discover the fractal nature of the cosmos, which is very different from the reality we are used to seeing in the realm of optical telescopes, by using the usual methods of image mapping in rainbow colors, which is adapted to the perceptive apparatus of our eyes. In the time of computer technology, manipulation of digital data helps us to reveal a reality beyond the limitations of visions of the human specie and gives us an understanding of the universe based on the "reality" of things we can not see normally with our eyes.
